The Diahann Project (TDP)

The Diahann Project (TDP) was started in 2017 by Stefanie as an intersectional catalyst for exploring her own creative health. TDP centers BIPOC visual storytelling through photojournalism + portrait photography. "Diahann" is actually Stefanie's very often mispronounced middle name that is rooted in her mother's love for the renown 80's Black Actress, Diahann Carroll. Interestingly this name continues to symbolize the intersectional points of Stefanie's ever-evolving creative identity as a kinesthetic creative + visual storyteller.

The Diahann Project Births (TDPBirths)

The Diahann Project Births (TDPBirths) is the birthright of Stefanie's merging passions as a Board-Certified Dance Movement Therapist + a Licensed Mental Health Clinician with a specialization in dance therapy + infant-parent/early childhood mental health + maternal mental health + perinatal psychotherapy along with her curiosity around perinatal storytelling for birthing families of color. TDPBirths is similarly aligned with a larger focus on celebrating the full spectrum perinatal journeys of birthing families of color inclusive of the celebratory + adverse birthing stories + experiences of perinatal inequities that many BIPOC families encounter.
